Quest for the Bay Now Playing!
Quest for the Bay follows the highly rated Pioneer Quest from History Television. It is the latest living-history documentary series from Winnipeg’s own Frantic Films. Quest for the Bay recreates the epic voyage of 19th century fur traders from Winnipeg to the Hudson Bay in a 40 foot wooden York Boat.
Northern Soul’s Paul Gossen was fortunate enough to join the York Boat team and participate in reliving Manitoba’s history. Equipped with 19th century equipment and supplies, the crew of eight endured many emotional and physical challenges along their 1,200 km journey.
Quest for the Bay will have incredible photage of the Hayes River, so be sure to tune in!! The scenery will be stunning and the participants hilarious as they cope with the challenges of their journey.
